Where do I find textures in Photoshop?

where is it? in the menu i mean, where can I find it?
There is a number of ways to do this. I use CS3 so there might be even more ways to do this with CS4. But in any case, here are a few….
1. select the area you want to add texture to (with the lasso tool or whatever you like), then select the marquee tool, right click the selection and select "fill." under contents, select fill with…"pattern." or you could select "tools" in the toolbar and select "fill" from there.
Or for a slightly different effect…..
2. select the area and then double click it’s layer in the layers palette. this will open the layer style window. you can also do this by clicking on fx – add layer style – at the bottom of the palette window. then select "texture" under bevel and emboss or select pattern overlay
or….
3. select the area and click on the style tab in the color palette. select what you like
