How do you make Photoshop automatically smooth out brush strokes?

In Illustrator, when you draw with the brush tool, it automatically adjusts your lines to look smoother. Is it possible to do this with Photoshop?
Unfortunately the technology is different/ You are dealing with pixels not vectors but there are some things you can do to help.
1. draw your line with the pen tool in photoshop, this will give you a straight or smooth curved line and you can then assign a stroke to it of your choice. this will make sure that your line is smooth.
2. You can always import your line work from Illustrator and then edit them on photoshop.
3 You can draw your line in photoshop and place the line in Illustrator and do a trace to tweak it and go back to photoshop after.
4. Finally there is the old fashion way by strengthening your drawing skills so you can draw a smooth line in photoshop with a wacom tablet and pen.

Not in the exact same way, because the two programs use extremely different methods to get their results. In Illustrator, the brush stroke is a vector design that is mathematically squeezed around the path to appear smeared like a real brush stroke. Meanwhile, the Photoshop brush is actually a series of stamps applied at regular intervals; used with certain brush heads and settings, these do approximate a brush stroke.
If you’re just using basic solid strokes (e.g. for linework), try editing on a larger canvas, then scaling down the artwork, which will usually result in sharper-looking lines. This is a very common technique for illustration.
