I have Adobe Photoshop CS4. I have tried to watch and follow some videos on youtube but I always get lost. I have absolutely NO knowledge on how to use photoshop and have no idea where to begin.
Take a look at http://www.lvsonline.com/ Their courses are reasonably priced, each six weeks in length.

dude, the best way to learn somthing is to learn it yourself. remember learning microsoft paint? i bet no one taught you but your a pro at that right? I know photoshop is a lot harder, but the only way you can really learn it is if you discover all the tools and see what thay can do.

that’s how I learned it
Photoshop is the most overrated, overpriced piece of garbage graphic software in the industry today. Just like all Adobe products, they are difficult and a pain in the butt to use. Do yourself a favor and switch to Corel Paint Shop Pro. It’s cheaper, and more user friendly. I’ve been using Paint Shop Pro for 10 years. Adobe is the biggest joke and use up tremendous resources on your computer too. Don’t waste your time.

Start with http://www.lynda.com , there’s a small monthly charge but they’ve a tutorial on pretty much anything. I’d say it was the best place to start for a beginner. Either that or find a good tutor.
